Qld: MP unaware of scam

Queensland Labor MP JIM FOURAS has told the state's inquiry into electoral rorts he
wasn't aware of a branch-stacking scam designed to support him in 1986.

The Member for Ashgrove in Brisbane has told the Shepherdson Inquiry he first read
about the scam in media reports but knew the mastermind of the scam DAVID BARBAGALLO.

Mr BARBAGALLO has previously testified he kept his activities a secret from Mr FOURAS
