NSW: Elderly man on a scooter dies after hit by Holden

An 87-year-old man on a motorized scooter has been killed after colliding with a Holden
sedan in Albury.

Police say the 19-year-old male driver of the Holden crashed into the scooter as it
neared the western kerb of Wodonga Place, on the New South Wales - Victorian border at
4:30pm (AEST).

The man riding the Gopher scooter suffered head and internal injuries and was taken
to Albury Hospital but died as he underwent emergency surgery.
