NSW: Second biggest day of crowds at Easter Show
SYDNEY, April 1 AAP - A bumper crowd at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney today has pushedtotal attendances closer to the magic million mark, organisers said.
A spokesman for the Easter Show said more than 98,000 people had passed through theturnstiles at Homebush in the city's west at 5pm (AEST) today.
With three full days left to go, total attendances at this year's event now stand atalmost 796,000.
Today's attendance figure represents the Easter Show's second biggest day this year,with the daily crowd figure peaking at more than 135,000 on Good Friday, traditionallyone of the event's most popular days.
