Fed: Kalejs could be called before Senate inquiry Democrats

Alleged Nazi war criminal KONRAD KALEJS could be called before a Senate committee to
test claims he had a letter from the prime minister acknowledging a lack of evidence against
him.

The move comes as police said they'll reassess material gathered in the case against KALEJS.

The Australian Democrats say KALEJS should appear before the committee to table a letter
he says he received from Prime Minister JOHN HOWARD acknowledging there isn't enough evidence
to try him for war crimes.
