Kari Warren.(Movers and Shakers)

BRE Properties appointed Kari Warren as Vice President, Marketing, and Steven Snell as Vice President, Business Applications. Warren is responsible for property marketing programs, Internet marketing, advertising and merchandising. Snell oversees the development and implementation of business intelligence applications, including budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis tools.

Snell joined BRE in 1996, serving as a community manager and later as a regional manager. He joined the information technology department in 2004, as Manager, Business Applications, and was promoted to Director in 2005.

Warren has more than 13 years' experience in multifamily housing real estate. She was Director, Marketing and Customer Service, for AvalonBay Communities, where she directed the development of its brand and website and managed all traditional and interactive marketing and advertising programs.
